Curbside Lambsear is Annabelle Mödlinger and Magdalena McLean. The collaboration explores rough textures and soft intentions, weaving together elements of pop, folk, and improvisation with influences of drone, dub, and post-punk. The project began as a way for Magdalena and Annabelle to experiment with writing music together, using early sessions to learn new instruments, the process of recording and writing on DAWs. Their musical output is the result of time spent together in the studio fusing disparate influences into collage; phone notes, little poems written on public transport, field recordings, sample loops, rehearsal voice memos and string melodies merge, realign, and sometimes coalesce into songs.
