LOLA started in 2023, when “I Hope the Sky is Grey When I Wake Up” was recorded during a jam session in LA. Lola writes songs in German and English and records them in her room since she doesn’t have the money to do it in a cool studio yet.

Her band rotates depending on who’s free on the day. If everyone makes it, it’s Joseph on bass, Tom on drums, Laura on violin, and Lola on guitar and vocals. But that only ever happened once. She released “Oh Berlin” in June, which will be followed by an EP later this year.
