GiGi Girls are an audiovisual Italo-pop project from Cologne that blends classic Italo-pop with dream pop and modern synth-pop. Inspired by Italian pop culture of the 1970s and 1980s, the band creates a unique soundscape that bridges nostalgia and the present – characterised by catchy melodies, analogue synthesisers and a distinctive retro aesthetic.
A key element of the band is the fusion of music and visual aesthetics. They describe their concerts as ‘GiGi Energy’: a blend of pop show, club atmosphere and an approachable stage presence.
