CHRIS COHEN

Chris Cohen’s songs initially sound easy. They’re each tiny jewels that unfurl at a leisurely pace, but dig a little deeper and you’ll reach a melancholy core. Chris Cohen, his third solo album, is his most straightforward album yet, but it is also the conclusion of an unofficial cycle that began with Overgrown Path. Chris Cohen is playing shows in Berlin (May 11th), Hamburg (May 13th), and Köln (May 14th). Video: Green Eyes.

ANNA ST. LOUIS

Produced by Kevin Morby and released on his label Mare, If Only There Was A River is the first full-length studio album from Anna St. Louis. The songwriter, originally from Kansas City, began writing songs after moving to LA 5 years ago and has previously released a cassette of recordings on Woodsist / Mare Records, appropriately titled First Songs. Anna St. Louis will play shows in Offenbach, Berlin, Jena, Schorndorf, München and Köln in April. Video: Understand.
